North Zealand Police Seize Over 1,600 Illegal Puffbars in Nivå

North Zealand Police have seized 1,651 illegal puffbars in Nivå. The police acted on a tip from a local citizen. They searched an address in Nivå on Thursday evening. Officers found over 1,000 disposable e-cigarettes inside a storage room. A 59-year-old man was at the location during the search.

Police estimate the total street value at 150,000 Danish kroner. Puffbars are disposable electronic cigarettes that are illegal in Denmark. They contain no tobacco leaf. Instead, they heat a liquid with nicotine and sweet flavorings. The 59-year-old man faces charges for possession and resale. He denies all charges against him.
