No need to replace your yellow health card for new region merge
Residents in Eastern Denmark will not need a new health card when local regions merge at the turn of the year.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /You do not need to replace your yellow health card when local regions merge. Region Zealand and the Capital Region will combine at the turn of the year. The new administrative unit will be named Region Eastern Denmark.
About 2.8 million citizens live in the combined area. They will not receive new health cards all at once. The regional council decided that existing cards remain fully valid.
This policy saves the region 30.2 million Danish kroner. Physical health cards will be replaced gradually over up to five years. Readers in Copenhagen can continue using their current yellow card as usual. This news was reported by The Copenhagen Post.
