New Natural History Museum to Open in Copenhagen in March 2027

Copenhagen will welcome the new Natural History Museum on March 6, 2027. The museum announced the opening date in a press release.

The museum is located in the Botanical Garden near Nørreport Station. It holds fourteen million items gathered over four hundred years.

These collections include animals, plants, fossils, minerals, and meteorites. The living collections also feature about eight thousand plant species.

Visitors will be able to explore eight different exhibitions when it opens. The museum will reveal exhibition details later this year, according to DR.
