Lunar Closes ShareIt App

Danish digital bank Lunar permanently shut down its expense-sharing service ShareIt on August 15. Users across Denmark must now switch to alternative bill-splitting applications.

Many students, roommates, and young professionals relied on ShareIt every day. They used the app to split rent, groceries, and dining costs.

The service is now fully closed. Local residents must find other payment apps for shared expenses.
