/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Visitors can soon view King Frederik’s first official painted portrait at Frederiksborg Castle. The new artwork will hang in the famous Knights’ Hall. It marks the King’s first official painted portrait since the change of throne.
The official unveiling takes place on September 25. The event coincides with the 150th anniversary of the Carlsberg Foundation. The Copenhagen Post reported the announcement.
Frederiksborg Castle sits in Hillerød north of Copenhagen. It houses Denmark’s Museum of National History. This new portrait adds a fresh chapter to local royal history.
