King Frederik Helps Paint First Official Royal Portrait

King Frederik helped paint his first official portrait as monarch. Danish critics are divided over the new artwork. Visual artist Cathrine Raben Davidsen spent two years creating the painting.

The royal portrait was unveiled on Friday evening. It hangs in the Great Hall at Frederiksborg Castle. The King picked up a brush to assist the artist.
