High Court Increases Sentence for Nørrebro Shooter
Denmark's Eastern High Court sentenced a man to 13 years in prison after a May 2024 shooting in Copenhagen.

The 25-year-old shooter named Haci Camur Palm aimed at another man. Instead, he hit an innocent bystander in the upper body. The high court convicted him of attempted murder and endangering lives.
The shooter claimed he acted in self-defense during the incident. Both the city court and high court rejected his self-defense claim. The man he tried to shoot is also charged with attempted murder. That man is wanted internationally and is still at large.
