Germany Extends Schengen Border Checks Through March 2027

Germany, Austria, and Poland have extended internal Schengen border controls through March 2027. Germany's land border checks include its border with Denmark. The checks took effect on September 16, 2026. They will remain in force until March 15, 2027.
