The police recently received more than 60 tips from the public.
About half of these tips led to new investigative steps.
Police commissioner Morten Ravn confirmed the update to DR Nyheder.
He noted that details remain confidential due to the nature of the case.
The police thanked citizens for submitting information to help solve the crime.
This month marks ten years since the incident occurred near Vissenbjerg on Funen.
An unknown perpetrator dropped a heavy concrete block from a highway bridge.
The block struck a German car passing underneath.
A 33-year-old woman was killed in the strike.
A 36-year-old man suffered severe injuries that left him permanently disabled.
