Fake Meat Ban Email Fools 1,200 Danish Regional Staff
A phishing test about removing canteen meat tricked 1,200 Capital Region employees into clicking a fake link.

The fake email claimed meatballs and roast beef would disappear from canteens. Some workplace canteens would switch to vegan menus. Staff clicked a link to see local canteen impact. The test was reported by TV 2 Kosmopol.
Security chief Anna Aaskilde Laursen said emotional messages make people react without thinking. The 1,200 staff face no penalties. Denmark’s Agency for Societal Security recommends checking email addresses carefully.
