/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /A new email scam is targeting Schengen visa applicants and international travelers. Fraudulent emails claim you must complete a digital migration declaration before traveling.
Cybersecurity researchers recently issued a warning about this phishing campaign. Fake emails impersonate European Union migration authorities. They direct victims to a counterfeit website.
This fake portal mimics the official EU Entry and Exit System. The scammers ask travelers to upload passport scans before their trip. They falsely claim this digital process is now mandatory.
Official registration for the Entry and Exit System actually happens in person. Border officers handle registration at official border crossing points. European authorities never request pre-travel online registration. They also do not ask for personal document uploads before travel.
