Extra Security at Copenhagen Airport Causes Major Travel Delays

Passengers flying through Copenhagen Airport face severe delays and long queues this weekend.

Extra security measures are causing major disruptions for travellers.

The airport expects the extra checks to stay in place through the weekend.

Queues stretched to the airport metro station early on Friday morning.

Many passengers have missed flights or had to rebook their travel.

Hundreds of passenger rebookings have already taken place since Thursday evening.

Airport officials hope to ease the situation early next week.

However, they cannot yet confirm when normal security will return.

Travelers should arrive extra early to avoid missing their flights.
