/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Travelling across Europe from Denmark and Sweden will soon offer stronger consumer protections. The European Parliament approved new safeguards for all passengers using public transport. The rules cover travel by plane, train, coach, bus, and ferry.
Passengers will get full ticket refunds within 14 days if flights are cancelled. This rule applies even if you book through an online travel agent. Refunds will also cover any additional agency fees paid during booking. Transport providers must inform customers about these rights at booking.
The European Commission will create a standard form for all refund claims. This form will be available in every official EU language. Passengers with reduced mobility can bring a companion on flights for free.
