The proposed pause aims to prevent long queues at major European airports. Previous test runs caused severe travel chaos and multi-hour delays for passengers. Non-EU citizens must register fingerprints and facial scans under the new system. This rule applies to Chinese passport holders living in or visiting Denmark and Sweden.
