/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Visitors from visa-exempt countries will not need an ETIAS travel authorization before 2027. The European Union officially delayed the system launch beyond 2026. This delay helps Chinese residents hosting family or friends from the US, UK, or Canada. Your guests can visit Denmark without extra travel paperwork or fees.
EU border agency Frontex confirmed the implementation of ETIAS is delayed indefinitely. European authorities also extended temporary rules for the Entry and Exit System, or EES. Member states may suspend EES biometric border checks at busy crossings through 2026. This policy aims to prevent long travel queues at busy airports.
Chinese residents in Denmark traveling outside the Schengen area should stay alert at border control. Border officers might temporarily skip automated biometric checks during busy periods. Travelers should carefully ensure border officers record their departure. This precaution prevents automated overstay errors on future trips to Europe, according to Travel Weekly.
