/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Chinese residents in Copenhagen hosting visa-free visitors do not need ETIAS authorization yet. The European Union delayed the system rollout again.
The new launch date remains uncertain. Technical issues with the Entry/Exit System caused the delay.
Once active, ETIAS will apply to about 60 visa-exempt non-EU countries. These countries include the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Hong Kong.
Visitors from these areas will need pre-travel authorization for 30 European countries. The fee will be 20 euros.
This delay simplifies short-term travel planning to Denmark and the Schengen area. Families hosting foreign visitors face fewer formal steps for upcoming trips. This report is based on information from Anadolu Agency.
