Workers will get test results directly from analysis companies. They can access reports using a QR code or an online login. The change follows an asbestos fraud case in North Jutland. That incident put 200 people at risk.
In February, the Danish Parliament passed a law against asbestos test fraud. The law allows prison sentences for employers who cheat. According to DR, the new rule will help protect worker health.
