Elk arrival at Gribskov Nature Park delayed
Restrictions on moving deer from Sweden have postponed the arrival of elks at Gribskov Nature Park.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Plans to introduce Swedish elks into Gribskov Nature Park are delayed. It is currently unknown when elks will arrive in North Zealand.
Disease restrictions currently prevent moving deer from Sweden to Denmark. Board member Tue Villebro suggested re-evaluating the park project. Park board chairman Kaare Larsen stated no new vote will happen.
The Danish Nature Agency North Zealand is now seeking other options. They may source elks from other Danish parks or from Germany.
