Region Østdanmark has unified medical imaging across hospitals, giving over 1,300 clinicians seamless access to patient diagnostic scans.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Patients in eastern Denmark will get faster hospital referrals and shared scans. The new Region Østdanmark unified its medical imaging system across all local hospitals.
This change follows the merger of the Capital Region and Region Zealand. Regional authorities expanded their contract with medical IT provider Sectra.
The new system connects radiology tools across eastern Denmark. Over 1,300 clinicians can now access patient diagnostic scans seamlessly.
Doctors can view scans without ordering duplicate tests. This speeds up specialist consultations for local residents and families.
Patients will spend less time waiting for diagnosis results. It makes public healthcare services in Copenhagen more efficient. (Source: Sectra)
