/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Passengers delayed by over 30 minutes can claim money back from DSB. The Danish state railway paid out about 67 million Danish kroner in early 2026. This payout is more than double the amount from the same period last year. The Copenhagen Post reported the figures from DSB's first-half financial report for 2026.
The surge in payouts follows widespread travel disruptions across the Danish rail network. DSB linked the delays to track work, severe winter weather, and signal failures. Other operational disruptions also caused train delays for commuters.
DSB provides compensation through its official travel time guarantee scheme. Passengers can submit claims whenever their journey is delayed by more than 30 minutes.
