Denmark Unifies Emergency Help for Physical and Mental Illness
People calling 112 or the medical helpline in Denmark can now get immediate mental health support.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /People in Denmark can now access urgent mental health advice through emergency numbers. Calling 112 or contacting the medical helpline gives direct access to psychiatric advice. This creates one entry point for physical and mental health emergencies.
All Danish regions launched this new system today. The announcement came from a press release by Danish Regions. The change stems from the 2023 agreement on better psychiatric care. The SVM government and parliamentary parties signed that agreement.
