Denmark to Spend 800 Million DKK to Expand Police Force

Denmark will allocate nearly 800 million Danish kroner from 2027 for police expansion.

The funding will also support the Danish Security and Intelligence Service, known as PET.

National Police Commissioner Lasse Boje called this plan a major milestone.

He noted it is one of Denmark's largest police expansions in several years.

The boost means the country will admit and train many new officers.
