Denmark to Send Embassy Staff to Help Adoptees Trace Biological Origins

Denmark will send embassy staff abroad to help international adoptees trace their biological families.

The government allocated just over 19 million Danish kroner for this effort.

The money comes as part of a new political agreement.

Four dedicated employees will go to Danish embassies in four specific countries.

These countries are South Korea, India, Vietnam, and Lebanon.

The diplomatic staff will remain deployed until mid-2028.
