Denmark to Launch New Pay Limit Scheme for Foreign Workers in 2027
Denmark announced guidelines for a new recruitment scheme taking effect in 2027 for non-EU professionals.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Non-EU professionals moving to Denmark will face new recruitment rules starting January 1, 2027. Certified Danish employers can sponsor work and residence permits under this scheme.
Denmark recently announced official guidelines for this new visa track. Employers must hold proper certification to use the system. They must also employ at least 10 full-time staff members.
Eligible non-EU workers must earn at least 322,000 Danish kroner per year. This rule provides clear details for foreign workers in the Nordic region. It matters for workers in Sweden considering employment across the border.
