Denmark's September raw electricity prices hit highest level since late 2022
Low wind, weak sunshine, and high gas prices pushed Denmark's September raw electricity prices to their highest monthly level since December 2022.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Electricity costs in Denmark reached a near four-year high in September. Higher raw prices could push up household energy bills across Copenhagen.
Energy firm OK reported raw electricity prices reached late 2022 levels. Prices averaged 1.07 DKK per kilowatt-hour east of the Great Belt. West of the Belt, prices averaged 1.05 DKK per kilowatt-hour. This was the highest monthly rate in almost four years.
Low wind and limited sunshine reduced renewable power production. High natural gas prices further increased overall generation costs.
Raw electricity prices exclude additional charges like VAT and public taxes.
