Denmark Resumes Issuing Child Protection Certificates

You can now get child background clearances in Denmark again. Danish authorities officially resumed issuing these certificates on September 19.

This decision follows a temporary operational pause in processing. Schools, sports clubs, and youth organizations require these background checks. They need them for both paid staff and volunteers.

Chinese parents, educators, and volunteers can now finish mandatory clearances. Childcare workers also require these background clearances to work in Denmark.
