Denmark Plans 680 Million DKK Package for Dementia Care
Denmark's government proposes 680 million DKK over four years to strengthen care for dementia patients and their families.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Families in Denmark with elderly relatives may soon receive stronger public care support. The government wants to allocate 680 million Danish kroner over four years. This proposal will improve care for people with dementia. It also aims to assist their families.
The money will be part of the next Finance Act. Economic and Interior Minister Pia Olsen Dyhr shared the plan. Details are still being finished by officials.
The plan includes assigned dementia coordinators for more individuals. Care workers will also receive extra training. Over 100,000 Danes over 65 have dementia today. About 400,000 relatives are affected.
