/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Denmark is upgrading its security tracking to monitor drone threats across Danish airspace. The Danish military and police will soon use a new AI command system. This system will help authorities coordinate fast responses to unknown drones.
The Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation signed a deal with software firm Systematic. Systematic will supply its SitaWare command software to military sites across Denmark. The software uses artificial intelligence to analyze large amounts of flight data. It detects unusual activity, tracking patterns, and potential safety threats in real time.
Defence Minister Jeppe Bruus stated that Denmark is building a strong drone shield. Military, police, and civilian officials will all view the same real-time operational map. This shared map helps authorities act quickly from the first drone sighting.
The new software connects directly to existing drone defense systems. In August, Denmark also partnered with Danish defense company Terma. Terma collects sensor data to create a clear picture of drone activity. Both systems work together to fight airborne and hybrid threats.
These security measures follow several drone incidents over Denmark in 2025. Officials have not released the agreement cost or the launch date. (Source: CPH Post)
