Meanwhile, a second new law targets large construction sites across Denmark. All workers on major construction projects must now carry digital ID cards. This rule applies to projects with values over 100 million Danish kroner. The digital cards help authorities verify legal employment status on site. The measure also aims to prevent illegal work and social dumping. Construction workers and employers must comply with these workplace rules. Parliament officially passed both measures, according to KPMG.
