Denmark Approves 1.2 Billion DKK Package for Greenland

Denmark has agreed to a funding package for Greenland. The Danish Finance Ministry finalized the deal with the Government of Greenland. The agreement is worth 1.2 billion Danish kroner. It covers the years from 2026 to 2029. The partial deal targets infrastructure and social support.

Part of the money will support vulnerable citizens in Greenland. It offers relief for economically struggling residents. Another part goes into key infrastructure projects. The plan reflects national fiscal priorities and Arctic strategic commitments.

The official funding agreement was reported by CPH Post. The committed funds will be spent over the four-year period.
