/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Hiring for Danish daycares and schools has come to a sudden halt. A system error in the national crime register has blocked mandatory child certificates.
The background checks have been unavailable for more than a week. The problem follows deletion errors in the Central Crime Register.
Employers cannot legally hire staff without these required documents. This issue affects nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools, and after-school care schemes. Sports clubs are also unable to complete background checks for new staff.
