Danish State Pension to Rise Above 200,000 Danish Kroner in 2027

People living in Denmark will see public transfer payments increase in 2027. This change offers clear visibility into public pension adjustments for residents and families. According to the Ministry of Finance, public transfer incomes will rise by 2.6 percent. The update was confirmed through a new executive order.

The state pension is known locally as folkepension. For single retirees, the full annual payment will exceed 200,000 Danish kroner. This is the first time the pension reaches this amount.
