Danish Parliament Lowers Work Permit Salary Threshold for Non-EU Workers

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Non-EU professionals can soon get a Danish work permit with a lower salary. The Danish Parliament passed a new law for foreign workers.
The new rules will take effect on January 1, 2027. Certified employers can hire workers from 16 non-EU countries, including China.
Under the law, the minimum salary threshold drops to DKK 322,000 per year. To qualify, employment must be full-time. The job must also be covered by collective bargaining agreements.
