Three government ministers want schools and daycares to stop using Aula.
They say the digital platform causes too much stress for children and teachers.
The ministers are Monika Rubin, Christina Egelund, and Jakob Engel-Schmidt from the Moderates party.
They presented their idea in an interview with news outlet Berlingske.
However, they have not suggested a replacement system yet.
Minister Engel-Schmidt said Aula takes away focus from teaching and learning.
Minister Rubin told DR that parents and schools send too many messages.
Over 10,000 messages go through Aula every minute each morning.
Aula started in 2019 to replace the old Skoleintra system.
Public schools and daycares use it for daily updates and schedules.
The proposal follows lower Danish scores in the latest PISA student assessment.
Other parties in government doubt that removing Aula is the best choice.
Nanna Bonde from the Socialist People's Party suggested setting clearer usage rules instead.
