Danish Intelligence Warns of Increasing Cyberattacks and Hybrid Threats
The Danish Defence Intelligence Service warns that Russia may step up hybrid attacks and cyber threats in the coming months.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Danish intelligence warns that hybrid threats against NATO countries could soon increase. Destructive cyberattacks may affect critical public services across Denmark.
The Danish Defence Intelligence Service presented its assessment at Kastellet in Copenhagen. Defence Minister Jeppe Bruus stated that the national security situation is serious. However, he clarified that direct military attacks on Denmark are not expected.
Intelligence chief Thomas Ahrenkiel noted a low but rising risk near NATO borders. Russia would need six months to prepare for any actual invasion. Meanwhile, Danish armed forces are actively adapting to these growing security risks.
The report follows a recent incident near Gedser. A Russian frigate fired flares at a Danish military helicopter. Officials described the event as unprofessional behavior by local Russian soldiers.
