Danish Companies Quadruple AI Use in Three Years

Six in ten Denmark firms now use AI tools at work. This shift changes skill needs for local workers and job seekers. National stats agency Statistics Denmark released these new figures. The survey looks at local firms with over ten staff members.

AI use in Denmark grew four times in three years. In 2026, 59 percent of these firms use AI tech. That share was 15 percent in 2023 and 42 percent in 2025. Business group Dansk Erhverv says big firms lead this change. They state AI has moved from talk into daily business tasks.

Firms use AI to read text and translate speech to code. They also use AI to make art, videos, and clear simple tasks. Firms see higher speed and output as the main AI perk.

But many firms lack skilled staff, tech knowledge, and free time. Tech group IT-Branchen calls for more employee training programs. They note data safety, quality, and human judgment remain vital.
