An anonymous resident with almost 20 years in Denmark called the situation unfair.

Others noted that children born in Denmark may lose automatic eligibility rights.

Applicants worry that upcoming political negotiations will create retroactive requirement changes.

Many candidates have already fulfilled every official requirement and paid the fees.

Some residents now consider leaving Denmark due to growing legal uncertainty.
