Copenhagen street reopen after chlorine leak

Halmtorvet in Vesterbro is now open after a morning chlorine leak. Police lifted all street cordons at 10:19 this morning. Residents no longer need to keep windows and doors closed.

The leak happened during maintenance on the Halmtorvet fountain. Chlorine leaks can be harmful to human health. Police closed the area and evacuated a nearby café. Specialists arrived quickly to manage the cleanup work.
