/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Families with young children in Copenhagen must now sort used diapers separately. The City of Copenhagen is installing dedicated bins in residential courtyards. Municipal daycare centers across the city are also receiving these new bins.
Previously, workers burned used diapers along with general residual waste. The city will now send collected diapers to a new facility. This location is Denmark's first specialized diaper recycling plant.
The change directly affects daily sorting routines for local families. It also updates waste handling practices in municipal childcare settings. Reporting was provided by EU Agenda.
