Copenhagen's Statens Museum for Kunst announces major renovation
Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen will renovate 6,700 square metres of exhibition space between 2027 and 2029.

Statens Museum for Kunst is planning a major renovation of its exhibition space.
The museum will update over 6,700 square metres of exhibition area.
The project costs a total of 70.5 million Danish kroner.
According to DR, the goal is making art accessible to more people.
New exhibitions will open in stages between 2027 and 2029.
These displays cover three main collection areas.
They include European art from the 1300s to the 1800s.
Danish and Nordic art from 1750 to 1900 is also included.
The final area covers Danish and international art after 1900.
The museum will bring back artworks from castles and ministries for the new displays.
Visitors will also get to see pieces that were rarely shown before.
