Copenhagen Metro M1 and M2 Lines Expand Capacity

Commuters on Copenhagen M1 and M2 metro lines will see less peak overcrowding.

The first of 34 refurbished trains has returned to service after interior redesigns.

The new design creates more carriage space for daily passengers.

This change increases carriage capacity per train by 11 percent.

Each updated train can now carry around 30 additional passengers.

This upgrade brings immediate relief to workers, students, and daily commuters.

The remaining trains among the 34 refurbished fleet will follow soon.
