Copenhagen Metro Hits Record 1.4 Million Passengers in One Weekend
The Copenhagen Metro saw a record 1.4 million passengers during the World Road Running Championships.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Copenhagen Metro recorded its busiest weekend ever during the World Road Running Championships. A total of 1.4 million passengers traveled on the metro from Friday to Sunday. The high volume shows heavy public transit use during major events in the city.
Metro operator Metroselskabet shared the new travel figures. Around 60,000 runners joined the one-mile, five-kilometer, and half marathon races. Thousands of spectators also traveled by metro to watch the events, leading to the record turnout. (Source: The Copenhagen Post)
