Copenhagen Installs Separate Diaper Bins in Courtyards and Daycares

Families with young children in Copenhagen will soon need to sort used diapers into dedicated bins.

The City of Copenhagen has begun installing separate collection bins across residential courtyards and municipal daycare centers.

This initiative diverts used diapers away from traditional incinerators.

The collected diapers will now go to Denmark's first specialized recycling facility.

The new measure marks a concrete update to daily household waste sorting for local parents.
