/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Apartment buyers in Copenhagen now face a stalling housing market. Prices for owner-occupied apartments remained flat during July. This pause comes after months of rapid price increases in the city.
Data from housing site Boligsiden shows prices stayed completely still. However, prices are still 21 percent higher than one year ago. Housing economists say apartment prices previously grew faster than house prices.
Buyers are now resisting these higher costs across the market. At the same time, the supply of available apartments is growing. Major bank Nordea noted this shifting trend in local real estate. According to The Copenhagen Post, market growth has slowed down significantly.
