Copenhagen Airport Sets New Record With 16.1 Million Passengers

Travelers in Copenhagen are using more flight options this year. Copenhagen Airport welcomed 16.1 million passengers in the first half of 2026. This set a new record for the airport.

Passenger numbers grew by about nine percent year-on-year. Expanding international routes helped drive this growth. Demand for travel across Scandinavia and overseas destinations remained very strong.

According to The Copenhagen Post, total airport revenue rose nine percent. Revenue reached nearly 2.8 billion Danish kroner. Profit after tax reached 664 million Danish kroner.
