All trains on Svendborg line cancelled for two weeks in October

All trains on the Svendborg line will stop for two weeks in October. Passengers between Odense and Svendborg must take buses from October 3 to 18. DSB announced the pause to complete major track maintenance.

Some train departures are already cancelled before October 3. DSB lacks enough operational train sets right now. Cancelled train departures will not appear in the Rejseplanen app. Buses will replace some evening departures until October 2.

DSB took over this route on September 1. The line was previously run by GoCollective. Transport Minister Thomas Danielsen ended GoCollective's contract early after repeated delays. The ministry noted that GoCollective faced severe financial risks. DSB now manages the full route to ensure reliable service. TV 2 Fyn first reported the upcoming bus replacements.
