15 Danish Trades Specialists to Compete at WorldSkills in Shanghai
Fifteen young Danish specialists in trades like carpentry and cooking will represent Denmark at WorldSkills in Shanghai from September 22 to 27.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Fifteen young Danish specialists will compete at the WorldSkills competition in Shanghai, China. The international event runs from September 22 to 27. This brings a major international vocational showcase to Shanghai.
The Danish team includes experts in trades such as carpentry and bricklaying. Members will also compete in cooking and restaurant service. Seven competitors previously took part in international events like EuroSkills 2025 in Herning.
Denmark placed 14th out of 70 countries at WorldSkills 2024 in Lyon. In Lyon, Kristian Bak Hansen won gold in Wall and Floor Tiling. Birgitte Brunsgaard Jacobsen took bronze in Heavy Vehicle Technology.
The Embassy of Denmark in China announced the team details. The embassy plans to follow the team and publish updates during the event.
