Øresund Bridge Limits Traffic for Maintenance and Repairs
Commuters between Denmark and Sweden face lane reductions on the Øresund Bridge starting in August.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Travelers using the Øresund Bridge face lane restrictions starting in August. The bridge operator announced maintenance and joint replacement work near Kastrup. These projects will affect daily travel between Copenhagen and Malmö.
Nighttime traffic restrictions occur first on August 18 and August 19. Workers will carry out barrier maintenance near Kastrup during these nights.
A larger project begins on August 31 to replace expansion joints. Road traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction. This main restriction will last for eight weeks across the bridge.
