Øresund Bridge closes to car traffic on Thursday night
Drivers crossing between Denmark and Sweden on 1 October must plan ahead as the Øresund Bridge closes for over three hours.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Car traffic on the Øresund Bridge will stop on Thursday, 1 October. The closure lasts from 8 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. Cars cannot cross in either direction during this time. Drivers travelling between Denmark and Sweden should plan their trips early.
Copenhagen police announced the planned closure for a major emergency exercise. Authorities from Denmark and Sweden will test their emergency response together. Many emergency vehicles will be visible on the bridge during the drill.
